What is Indiana Dollars for Scholars?

It's in the news and touches the lives of many Indiana families -- tuition for college students is on the rise!  College costs are outpacing inflation and parental savings.  Many promising Indiana students may not realize their dreams of a higher education.  At a time when education is recognized as the key to changed lives and a better society, access for all students should be a top priority.

The mission of Indiana Dollars for Scholars is to expand access to higher education and to encourage the educational preparation of Hoosier students. We are one of seven regions established throughout the country by Scholarship AmericaSM, the nation's largest nonprofit private-sector and educational support system. Through a variety of programs we work to enable Hoosier youth to achieve their dreams of succeeding pas high school.

Our vision to expand Dollars for Scholars® chapters to every Indiana community, and to establish ScholarShop sites where access to higher education is currently limited, can be realized with your help.
